TOPS refueling transfer tanks are designed and constructed with the industrial user in mind. Whether you are a farmer, contractor, municipality, or simply a private citizen, you can trust that your TOPS tank will hold up and last a lifetime. We believe that in order to offer the best tank on the market, we need to start with the highest quality materials available. All TOPS tanks are manufactured here in the USA. Many manufacturers save a few dollars by outsourcing their fabrication without considering the overall quality of the finished product. Our refueling tanks are legal in all 50 states for gasoline, kerosene, methanol, diesel, and aviation fuel.

All TOPS refueling tanks come standard with a 3/8 in. npt drain plug, two 2 in. npt bungs, a vent/prevent cap, and fully welded baffles to reduce slosh and add strength. These tanks are constructed from rugged diamond plate aluminum and are all available with a black or white powder coated finish.

Description

The ATI double wall transfer tank is a DOT permitted tank allowing you to transport gasoline, kerosene, methanol, diesel or aviation fuel in all 50 states.

The double wall transfer tank ranges in size from 98 gallons to 110 gallons. The DOT permit requires you to dispense fuel from the tank with a fuel pump.

Optional Tank Accessories:

  • GPI Fuel Pump: add a GPI fuel pump to any tank.
  • Fuel Tank Filter: add a filter to any GPI fuel pump.
  • Tank mounted gauge: mounts on the top of the tank.
  • Black powder coat: gloss black or matte black.
  • Locking fuel cap: provides extra security with a lockable cap.
  • Tank Notch: custom modification to fit the fuel pump below tonneau covers, see below picture for an example of a tank notch.
  • Mounting Bolts: includes bolts, washers and nuts to securely mount the tank.

Note: Standard aluminum transfer tanks are only designed to hold fuel pumps up to 15 gpm or 30 pounds of weight.  Heavier fuel pumps require a heavy duty aluminum tank. Call or contact us if you need a heavy duty tank.

ATI Double Wall Refueling Transfer Tank Sizes:

  • 98 gallon – 48.5″L x 26″W x 25″H – fits short bed trucks with tab modification*
  • 110 gallon – 53″L x 26″W x 25″H – fits long bed trucks

Note: the fill neck adds 2.5 inches to the height of the tank.  Each mounting tab adds 1.5 inches to the length of the tank (3 inches for two mounting tabs).

*Mounting tabs on each side increase the 98 gallon tank length to 51.5 inches.  If you have a short bed truck, you will need to request a modification to move the mounting tabs from the sides to the front and the back to allow the tank to pass between the wheel well in a short bed.

  • 98 gallon: Double wall fuel tank weighs 138 pounds when empty.
  • 110 gallon: Double wall fuel tank weighs 158 pounds when empty.

Aluminum Tank Industries has been granted a special permit from the U.S. Department of Transportation for the legal manufacture, mark and selling of legal aluminum refueling transfer tanks. These tanks can be used for commercial and state applications.
